Role Description This is a full-time on-site Commis I - Pastry and Bakery role located at Palma Beach Resort & Spa in Umm Al Quwain, United Arab Emirates. The role involves preparing, baking, and presenting high-quality pastries and bakery items while adhering to hygiene standards. The successful candidate will assist senior chefs, innovate with creative pastry designs, and ensure food safety regulations are met in the kitchen. Collaboration and maintaining a clean work environment are integral parts of the daily tasks. Qualifications Proficiency in Baking and Bakery preparation techniques Demonstrated Creativity Skills in crafting and designing unique desserts and baked items Strong understanding and adherence to kitchen Hygiene standards and practices Basic Cooking knowledge to assist in the broader culinary team tasks Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and passion for pastry and bakery arts Ability to work collaboratively in a team and effectively manage time Formal culinary training or certifications in pastry and bakery are an advantage Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is highly preferred Benefits Health insurance, accommodation and Visa provided by the resort #J-18808-Ljbffr
