Roles and responsibilities
  • Assist in implementing BIMworkflows and ensuring team adherence to establishedstandards.
  • Support the development andmaintenance of BIM models andprotocols.
  • Coordinate with project teams toensure BIM processes align with project schedules anddeliverables.
  • Assist in the integration andapplication of Revizto for issue tracking and projectreviews.
  • Generate and Track ClashReports
  • Contribute to the preparation ofBIM-related documents, including BIM Execution Plans (BEP) andworkflows.
  • Support the BIM Manager in ensuringcompliance with project-specific BIMrequirements.
  • Assist in managing AutodeskConstruction Cloud tools for project coordination and datamanagement.
  • Ensure accurate and secure datahandling within the cloud environment.
  • Conductinitial quality checks on BIM models and flag issues for correctiveaction.
  • Maintain consistent accuracy andintegrity in deliverables under the BIM Manager'sguidance.

Qualifications

  • Minimum3 years of experience in a BIM-relatedrole.
  • Hands-on experience with Revizto in BIMcoordination workflows.
  • Familiarity withAutodesk Construction Cloud tools.
  • Proficiencyin Autodesk Revit and Navisworks; knowledge of Civil 3D is aplus.
  • Bachelor's degree inArchitecture, Engineering, or a relatedfield.
  • Training TeamMembers : Providing training and support to BIM teammembers, ensuring that they are proficient in BIM software andworkflows.
  • Mentoring :Supporting the professional development of junior BIM staff byproviding mentorship and guidance on best practices and modeldevelopment.
  • Promoting BIMKnowledge : Encouraging and fostering a culture ofknowledge sharing and continuous learning within the BIMteam.

  • DevelopingBIM Execution Plans (BEP) : Leading the creation ofBIM Execution Plans that outline how BIM will be implementedthroughout the project, including workflows, collaborationprotocols, and standards.
  • BIMImplementation : Defining and ensuring the effectiveimplementation of BIM workflows, including 3D modeling, clashdetection, and data managementprocesses.
  • Coordinating BIMProcesses : Managing the integration of BIM processesinto the design, construction, and operation phases, ensuring thatproject data is shared and updated across allteams.

2. TeamLeadership andCoordination

  • LeadingBIM Teams : Managing a team of BIM specialists,modelers, and technicians, providing guidance and oversight toensure the creation of accurate models and adherence to projectrequirements.
  • CollaborationAcross Disciplines : Ensuring that all teams(architectural, structural, MEP, etc.) are working cohesively,exchanging information seamlessly, and resolving any issues thatarise during modeldevelopment.
  • InterdisciplinaryCollaboration : Facilitating collaboration betweendesign, engineering, and construction teams to make sure that BIMis used effectively across all phases of theproject.

3. ModelManagement and QualityControl

  • ModelReview and Coordination : Reviewing and approving BIMmodels for accuracy, consistency, and completeness, ensuring thatthey are fully integrated and free from conflicts orerrors.
  • ClashDetection : Overseeing the use of BIM tools for clashdetection, ensuring that potential conflicts between differentbuilding systems (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, electrical) are identifiedand resolved before constructionbegins.
  • QualityControl : Implementing quality control procedures toensure that models are built to the required standards and thatthey are useful throughout the projectlifecycle.

4. BIM DataManagement

  • DataIntegration : Ensuring that all data related to theproject is properly integrated into the BIM system, includingarchitectural, structural, and MEP data, and that the models arelinked to relevantdatabases.
  • VersionControl : Managing version control for BIM models andensuring that all project stakeholders are working with the mostup-to-date versions of themodels.
  • Information FlowManagement : Managing the flow of information betweenvarious project stakeholders, ensuring that data is exchangedefficiently, and all teams have the information theyneed.
