Description We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Manager to lead and oversee the full operational management of our clients nursery department in Abu Dhabi UAE. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who is passionate about early childhood care capable of driving high operational standards and committed to creating a safe nurturing and engaging environment for children. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day nursery operations supervising staff coordinating schedules overseeing supplies and requisitions ensuring safety and hygiene compliance and upholding quality childcare standards. Responsibilities: 1. Operational Management Oversee daily nursery operations to ensure a safe caring and productive environment. Prepare weekly and monthly staff rotas to maintain adequate staffing levels. Monitor staff attendance and punctuality and address any issues proactively. Review and validate nursery requisitions and supply requests to avoid errors or overordering. Ensure all orders are necessary cost-effective and aligned with the approved budget. Conduct periodic inventory checks of toys learning materials and consumables. Follow up on comments corrections or pending requisitions to ensure proper resolution. Staff Supervision & Development Lead mentor and supervise nursery assistants and caregivers. Conduct regular staff performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback. Identify training needs and coordinate with HR for staff development programs. Foster teamwork professionalism and strong communication among all staff. Quality Assurance & Child Welfare Ensure a safe nurturing and stimulating environment for all children. Maintain structured routines that support childrens emotional physical and educational development. Oversee hygiene practices and ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines. Address feedback or complaints promptly and drive continuous improvement. Conduct regular observations of staffchild interactions to maintain high quality standards. Communication & Reporting Serve as the primary liaison between nursery staff HR and senior management. Provide regular reports on staffing supplies operational concerns and overall performance. Requirements Proven experience in nursery management or supervisory role in childcare. Strong knowledge of early childhood development standards and safety/hygiene protocols. Excellent leadership communication and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and maintain a high-quality childcare environment.
