Roles and responsibilities

Responsible for supervising theday-to-day operations for the Butcher & Still Restaurantalong with the F&B Outlet Manager. To assist F&BOutlet Manager in ensuring all employees adhere to Four Seasonsstandards.

MainDuties/Description

Whatyou will do

  • Supervise and motivate the team bypromoting the 'golden rule', and lead Butcher& Still Restaurant services.
  • Be visiblein the operations, recognize and maintain relationships withregular guests as well as cultivate relationships with newpatrons.
  • Communicate with employees andmanagers to ensure operational needs are met as well as attendregular operational meetings to ensure effective coordination andcooperation between departments.
  • Be knowledgeof Butcher & Still Restaurant operations as well as FourSeasons Cultural and Core Standards, policies and standardoperating procedures. Work closely with the team and assist withset-up/cleaning of operational areas.
  • Performother tasks or projects as assigned by the Food & BeverageOutlet Manager, Asst. Restaurant Manager and HotelManager.

  • Aminimum of at least 2 to 3 years of experience in the similar rolein a luxury brand
  • An outgoing personality and acan-do approach to an assigned task
  • High levelof understanding and knowledge of food and/orwine
  • Proficient in English (speaking, reading,writing)
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, andwritten communication skills

  • SupervisingStaff: Managing and overseeing the day-to-dayoperations of the food and beverage team, including servers,bartenders, and kitchenstaff.

2. CustomerServiceExcellence

  • EnsuringGuest Satisfaction: Monitoring guest interactions,addressing any concerns or complaints promptly, and ensuringhigh-quality service standards are met at alltimes.
  • Handling SpecialRequests: Overseeing special guest requests,including dietary restrictions, seating arrangements, or customorders, ensuring they are fulfilled accurately andefficiently.
  • Creating a PositiveAtmosphere: Ensuring that guests feel welcomed,valued, and comfortable throughout their diningexperience.

3.OperationalEfficiency

  • OverseeingDaily Operations: Ensuring the smooth and efficientoperation of all food and beverage service activities, includingorder taking, food preparation, serving, andbilling.
  • Maintaining Cleanlinessand Organization: Ensuring cleanliness in the diningand kitchen areas, as well as making sure that all equipment andutensils are in good workingorder.
  • ManagingInventory: Overseeing inventory levels for food,beverages, and supplies, including ordering items, maintainingstock levels, and managing waste.

4.QualityControl

  • EnsuringFood Quality: Ensuring that food is prepared andserved according to high standards, maintaining consistency intaste, presentation, and portionsize.
  • Monitoring BeverageService: Ensuring that drinks are made according tospecifications, whether alcoholic or non-alcoholic, and thatbartenders follow responsible alcohol servicepractices.
  • ConductingInspections: Regularly inspecting service areas andthe kitchen for cleanliness, presentation, and compliance withhealth and safety standards.

5.Health and SafetyCompliance

  • FoodSafety Regulations: Ensuring all staff follow foodsafety regulations, including proper food handling, storage, andsanitation practices.
  • AlcoholLaws and Safety: Overseeing the responsible serviceof alcohol, including checking IDs, monitoring alcohol consumption,and ensuring compliance with local liquorlaws.
  • HygieneStandards: Maintaining high levels of hygienethroughout the kitchen, dining, and bar areas, ensuring adherenceto health and safety regulations.
