  • Install and fit various types ofprocess instrumentation including pressure temperature flow andlevel measuring devices.
  • Mount align andconnect instruments to pipelines vessels and other industrialequipment ensuring proper fit andfunction.
  • Prepare and cut instrument tubing andfittings (copper stainless steel) for connection betweeninstruments and process lines.
  • Lay out andinstall smallbore tubing (SBT) for instruments and control valvesin accordance with isometric drawings and P&IDdiagrams.
  • Bend cut and thread pipes and tubingas per specifications.
  • Install instrumentmanifolds impulse lines and fittings for process controldevices.
  • Assist in routine inspection andpreventive maintenance of instrumentationsystems.
  • Remove replace or repair faultyinstruments tubing and fittings ensuring compliance with industrystandards.
  • Support the troubleshooting of leaksblockages or other issues in tubing and instrumentconnections.
  • Interpret technical drawingsschematics and P&ID diagrams for installation ormodification of instruments and systems.
  • Followengineering specifications to ensure correct alignment positioningand orientation of instruments.
  • Work closelywith Instrument Technicians during calibration testing andcommissioning of instruments.
  • Provide handsonassistance for loop checking and functional testing ofinstrumentation and control systems.
  • Ensurethat all instrumentation fitting and installation work complieswith ADNOC safety policies procedures and industrystandards.
  • Ensure the correct use of personalprotective equipment (PPE) and adherence to HSE requirements whileworking in hazardous environments.
  • Use andmaintain tools such as tube benders pipe cutters threaders pressuregauges and other specialized fittingtools.
  • Maintain proper inventory of tools andequipment required for instrumentation fittingwork.

Qualifications:

  • ITI / HighSchool Diploma orequivalent.
  • 35years of experience in instrumentation fitting inthe oil and gas industry preferably in onshore or offshoreenvironments.

AdditionalInformation :

  • Working in onshore andoffshore oil and gas facilities often in hazardousconditions.
  • May involve working in confinedspaces at heights and in extremetemperatures.
  • Understanding of instrumentinstallation and process controlsystems.
  • Ability to read and interpretP&ID diagrams isometric drawings and engineeringblueprints.
  • Familiarity with materials likestainless steel and copper tubing.
  • Ability towork at heights or in confined spaces.
  • Strongattention to detail and precision in instrument fittingwork.
