We are excited to announce an exceptional job opportunity for a Lighting Sales Engineer - Facade Lighting specializing in Facade Lighting. We are seeking a Subject Matter Expert who will oversee Business Development and hold responsibility for the bottom line, including the business unit's profit and loss statements.

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for:

  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within the Facade Lighting sector with preparation of client pitches, presentations, and proposals in a timely and professional manner.
  • Execution of a wide range of core services, including feasibility studies, highest and best use studies, technical due diligence, and valuation reports.
  • Manage and coordinate design consultants, providing design input when needed.
  • Evaluate and critique contractor/bids submissions, providing constructive engineering feedback for improved project outcomes.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and reviews of the entire design process, offering tailored solutions to guarantee design integrity and operational efficiency.
  • Propose and manage value engineering development with design consultant and specialist.
  • Lead and motivate a team of dedicated professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Identify design gaps and miscoordination between different disciplines, following up on variations and design change orders.
  • Manage the business unit's Profit & Loss (P&L), including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop long-term business strategies for the Facade Lighting business unit.

Who We Are Looking For:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the UAE, preferably within the event technology industry.
  • Electrical engineering background or equivalent technical expertise in Facade Lighting systems is highly desirable.
  • Proven success in business development, with a strong track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on achieving financial objectives.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and relevant industry software.
