- To ensure that the front or therestaurant is always covered and that the entrance to therestaurant is as welcoming and attractive aspossible.
- To check each table to ensure that itis clean and fully set up before any guests are seated at thetable.
- To check with guests to get feedback onthe quality of their experience. Share any problems thatarise with outlet managers but try to take care of the problem atonce.
- Pitch in and help in service whenever theneed arises.
- Work with the Cashier and relieveCashiers onbreak.
Qualifications:
- High Schooldiploma
- Previous experience in Food &Beverage/Restaurant operations for at least 1 year luxury hotelexperience is a must.
- Passion for excellentservice
- Excellent team player and greatcommunication skills
- Multilanguage is anadvantage
AdditionalInformation :
- Prompt and courteousdelivery of all orders maintaining a positive image through alleach guest contact and through cleanliness of guestareas.
- Assure total guest satisfaction in theservice of food and beverage through the supervision of prompt andcourteous delivery of all Restaurants and Room Serviceorders
- During shift ensure that guests aresatisfied by assisting with serving seating communication withkitchen and by striving to speak to allguests.
- Assist in maintaining a highlymotivated and well trained staff
- Open and closeshift in accordance with ManagersChecklist.
- Train maintain and enforce allAnantara Service Standards
- Properly executerevenue and check control procedures onshift
- Maintain a safe and sanitary workenvironment for all Associates andguests
- Gather and implement all proper toolsfor running shifts (i.e. schedules floor plans reservationschecks)
- Find solutions for problems such ascall outs last minute bookings or any other daily problems that mayarise.
- Be on the floor during entire mealperiod and ensure adequate coverage
- Ensure thatonly a quality product is being served
- Maintainproper Associate uniform standards
- Manage aneffective repair and maintenance program through the use of workorders inspections etc.
- Exercise stationrotation to ensure stations are distributed fairly. Handle daily Associate relations (i.e. scheduling time adjustmentsetc.
- Assist any Associate in his/her jobperformance when required to ensure guest satisfaction. Assist in implementing an effective training program for new andcurrent associates
- Encourage problem solving byAssociates through proper training and empowerment to ensure guestsatisfaction.
- Establish effective communicationwith Associates to gain their trust and respect through his/herhard work. Maintain fair and consistent counseling and/ordisciplinary procedures in accordance with Anantaras Guarantee ofFair Treatment Policy
- Identify and recommendincentive programs new ideas and methods ofoperation
