Job Description Key Responsibilities Customer Service and Sales Welcome customers and understand their needs clearly Provide expert advice on flower selection, design styles, and color themes Handle custom event orders with accuracy and clear documentation Process sales, coordinate deliveries, and manage follow ups Resolve customer issues quickly and professionally Floral Design and Event Execution Create high quality floral arrangements for daily orders and special requests Design concepts for weddings, corporate events, and large functions Prepare drawings or sketches to communicate ideas to clients Customize designs to fit themes, budgets, cultural needs, and venue layout Lead end to end event floral installations, including planning, preparation, transportation, on site setup, detailing, and final presentation Maintain high quality standards across all design and installation work Inventory and Supply Management Manage inventory levels and ensure consistent availability of fresh stock Order flowers, plants, and materials based on season and event schedules Inspect deliveries and maintain strict flower care standards Oversee conditioning, storage, and rotation of all fresh products Operations and Administration Maintain accurate records for sales, custom orders, and inventory movement Schedule deliveries and coordinate event logistics Support junior florists with training, design guidance, and technical skills Maintain shop cleanliness, displays, and workspace organization Continuous Learning Stay updated on new floral trends, event design approaches, and flower varieties Adjust planning and design according to seasonal or holiday needs Required Skills and Experience Minimum 5+ years hands on experience in event floral design, including full end to end installations Minimum 7+ years professional experience in floristry Strong artistic and color sense with the ability to create and visualize concepts Skilled in drawing and sketching for client presentations Excellent communication skills and strong client handling capability Proven ability to manage complex event timelines and multiple setups Knowledge of flower processing, care, and inventory management Ability to lead a team during event setup and breakdown Performance Indicators Quality and consistency of floral design Successful and timely event installations Customer satisfaction, referrals, and repeat business Inventory accuracy and reduced wastage Effective teamwork and leadership during events Role Summary We are hiring a Senior Florist and Event Designer with strong experience in advanced floral design and full scale event production. You must be able to take an event from concept to completion, including design sketches, floral preparation, logistics planning, and end to end floral installation. The role requires sharp artistic judgment, color expertise, and confidence working directly with clients.
