Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Risk Manager to join our team at CFI.

Responsibilities:

  • Initiate regular assessments to cover all areas of existing and potential risks
  • Manage a proper analysis on main risk indicators and come up with corrective measures where needed
  • Develop and apply new strategies to ensure proper implementation of risk control initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and procedures
  • Ensure a continuous update of risk management documentation, reports, and records
  • Draft Risk Management protocols and policies and build risk awareness among team members
  • Propose a business continuity plan to limit risks
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and manage risks linked to their job activity

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of previous experience in the risk function in the UAE.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Risk Management, with relevant certifications like FRM, CFA, or PRM.
  • Licensed by the Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) in the UAE is a must
  • Familiar with UAE regulations and compliance requirements (SCA, AML, KYC).
  • Experience in FX, CFDs, stocks, and other financial products.
  • Experience in identifying and managing operational risks.
  • Strong ability to assess financial risks and create risk models.
  • Ability to report and communicate risk findings to stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership, communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
