Key Responsibilities:

Financial Analysis & Modeling:

  • Develop and maintain detailed financial models to support valuations, financial forecasts, and transaction structures.
  • Perform scenario and sensitivity analysis to assess potential outcomes and impacts on financial projections.
  • Analyze historical financial performance and market trends to provide actionable insights.

Corporate & Project Finance:

  • Assist in the structuring and execution of corporate and project finance transactions.
  • Support due diligence efforts, including financial statement analysis, industry research, and benchmarking.
  • Prepare and review financial documentation and presentations for internal and client meetings.

Risk Analysis:

  • Identify and assess key risks associated with investment opportunities and projects.
  • Develop risk mitigation strategies and incorporate risk factors into financial models and projections.
  • Monitor and report on financial and operational performance to ensure compliance with risk management guidelines.

Pitch Preparation & Presentations:

  • Prepare pitch presentations and marketing materials for client engagements, including decks and reports.

Sector Expertise:

  • Leverage experience in the utility sector to provide insights and recommendations relevant to utility-related transactions.

Qualification & Job Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field. An advanced degree (e.g., MBA, CFA) is preferable.

Professional Experience:

  • 5- 10 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or a similar analytical role.
  • Proven experience and understanding of financial modeling and valuation techniques.
  • Experience or familiarity with the utility sector is highly desirable.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions and modeling techniques.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience preparing pitch decks and client materials.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and integrity.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
