Inspector - Landscape

• Ensure the contractor/s compliancewith the standards and specifications of the contractdocuments.
• Maintain records of the contractorhuman and equipment daily resources.
• Undertakeall site supervision and inspections when required or instructed bythe Resident Engineer (RE) or the Assistant Resident Engineer(ARE).
• Liaise and daily follow up with thecontractor. This is to ensure the contractor is managing itsresources health and safety and equipment needs on thesite.
• Be familiar with the projects contractdocuments detailed drawings specifications and health and safetymeasures together with any associatedupdates.
• Prepare daily report to the RE or ARE.This includes works orders materials delivery and daily inspectionsprogram.
• Follow up and implement any siteinstructions made by the RE and ARE.
• Apply andimplement all quality controls and quality procedures of thesite.
• Prepare any site measurements andsurveying checks needed by the RE or ARE for pipes alignments andlevels.
• Coordinate and cooperate with clientproject manager during their site inspections in the presence ofthe RE or ARE.
• Monitor contractor QA/QCactivities and maintain relevantrecords.
• Assist the ARE and RE in thepreparation of any correspondences in compliance with the contractdocuments and site requirements.
• Where siteproblems are found work with the RE or ARE to resolve thempromptly.
• Monitor the startup commissioning andhandover of the site works. Including maintaining records of theproject milestones.
• Maintain records ofmaterials tests performed and executedworks.
• Audit inspections for conformity tocontract documents and contractor submittedplans.

Qualifications:

• Diploma inEngineering (Landscape Irrigation or relatedcourse).
• Minimum 7 years of experience inconstruction supervision of landscape works inUAE.
• Relevant experience in the constructionsupervision.
