**Job Title**: Civil Inspector

**Location**: Ras Al Khaimah, UAE

As a Civil Inspector at Capital Engineering Consultancy, you will be responsible for overseeing and inspecting civil construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. Your primary responsibilities will include:

- Conducting regular inspections of civil construction works, including earthworks, concrete structures, roads, utilities, and landscaping, to verify compliance with project plans, specifications, and quality standards.
- Monitoring construction activities to ensure adherence to approved methods, materials, and workmanship standards, as well as compliance with safety regulations and environmental requirements.
- Reviewing and interpreting construction drawings, plans, and specifications to identify discrepancies, errors, or deviations from design requirements.
- Documenting inspection findings, non-conformities, and corrective actions in detailed inspection reports, daily logs, and other project documentation.
- Coordinating with project managers, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to address and resolve construction-related issues, discrepancies, and technical queries.
- Conducting material inspections and testing to verify compliance with project specifications and quality standards, including sampling, testing, and documentation of test results.
- Providing technical guidance and support to construction teams and subcontractors to ensure proper implementation of construction plans and procedures.
- Participating in project meetings, progress reviews, and site visits to provide input on construction progress, quality issues, and potential risks or delays.
- Liaising with regulatory authorities, third-party inspectors, and client representatives to facilitate inspections, approvals, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Supporting the preparation of project documentation, including as-built drawings, specifications, and closeout reports, to ensure accurate record-keeping and documentation of project activities.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Civil Inspector, preferably in a consultancy or engineering firm.
- Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, materials, and practices, with experience in infrastructure projects such as roads, utilities, and drainage systems.
- Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and specifications, including local regulations and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with project stakeholders and construction teams.
- Proficiency in construction inspection techniques, methods, and tools, including the use of testing equipment and measurement instruments.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documenting inspection findings and preparing reports.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and effectively manage time and priorities to meet project deadlines.
- Valid UAE driving license and willingness to travel to project sites within Ras Al Khaimah and the UAE as needed.
