Roles and responsibilities

The Sales Assistant is responsiblefor sales generation and delivering a positive customer experience,and for a variety of operational duties as assigned by the storemanagement team.

What you willdo:

Store Safety

  • Creates asparkling clean and organized environment by maintaining storestandards and cleanliness.

Excellent CustomerService

  • Creates a positive first impressionfor the customer through an energetic attitude and adhering to thedress code .
  • Greets customers immediately uponentering the store with a smile and sincere non-business-likegreeting .
  • Provides customers with currentrelevant information about theproduct.
  • Sincerely thank all customers forshopping as they exit the store and invite them back.

Quality

  • Providequality service in the fitting rooms, follow up with customerspromptly, maintain cash wrap cleanliness, and attempt to add on tothe sale .

Administrative

  • Providesefficient service at the cash wrap, offers gift cards, maintainscash wrap cleanliness, and captures customer information in thedatabase.

  • Extensive experience in Sales,Marketing and Operations and working in the retail/ brandmanagement industry specifically inFashion.
  • Sound in-depth knowledge of themarket, brand positioning and trends.

  • StockManagement:

    • Ensureshelves and displays are fully stocked with the rightproducts.
    • Help with restocking inventory,receiving new shipments, and organizing products for easyaccess.
    • Monitor stock levels and report any lowstock or out-of-stock items to thesupervisor.

  • VisualMerchandising:

    • Helpmaintain visually appealing product displays and store layouts toattract customers.
    • Follow guidelines forproduct placement, signage, and seasonal promotions to ensure thestore is organized and visuallyappealing.

  • ProductKnowledge:

    • Stayinformed about the products and services offered in the store,including their features, benefits, anduses.
    • Provide customers with detailedinformation about products and services, helping them make informedpurchasingdecisions.

  • CashHandling:

    • Operate cashregisters and handle transactionsaccurately.
    • Process returns, exchanges, andrefunds in accordance with storepolicies.

  • Cleanlinessand StoreMaintenance:

    • Ensure thestore is clean and tidy at all times, including shelves, aisles,fitting rooms, and common areas.
    • Assist inkeeping the store organized and ensuring safety standards aremet.

  • TeamCollaboration:

    • Workalongside other sales assistants, supervisors, and store managersto meet sales goals.
    • Participate in teammeetings, training sessions, and storeevents.
