About the Role
As an Executive Chef – Product Development , you will lead the creation of new culinary concepts, transforming ideas into scalable, high-quality dining experiences. Working at the intersection of creativity, science, and business, you will pioneer new menu items, optimize recipes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to introduce world-class food products for airline and commercial customers.

What You'll Do
Lead Culinary Innovation:
- Drive the fast prototyping of new food concepts, turning creative ideas into viable, scalable dining experiences.
- Research and implement the latest culinary trends, technologies, and techniques to stay ahead of industry standards.
Develop and Optimize Products:
- Conduct feasibility studies and develop prototypes, ensuring each concept aligns with customer expectations and operational capabilities.
- Optimize recipes for efficiency, quality, and consistency in mass production settings.
Collaborate and Inspire:
- Work closely with sales, operations, procurement, and external suppliers to ensure seamless concept development and product launches.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff, sharing expertise in food science, advanced culinary techniques, and product development.
Enhance Quality and Performance:
- Standardize recipes to maintain consistency in taste, portion size, and quality across large-scale production.
- Conduct menu engineering analysis to identify cost-effective ingredient substitutions while maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction.
Customize for Global Markets:
- Tailor menus and dining experiences for diverse regional and international audiences, incorporating cultural influences and consumer preferences.
- Monitor and analyse menu performance to make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
Ensure Cost Efficiency and Compliance:
- Manage budgets for concept development activities, ensuring financial viability while maintaining quality standards.
- Implement best practices in Lean Management, Occupational Health & Safety, and Quality Assurance.

What Makes You a Great Fit
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Food Technology, Food Science, or Food Engineering (preferred).
Experience:
- Minimum 9 years in culinary concept and product development within large-scale food environments.
- Experience in fine dining, gastronomy, and hospitality industries in leading positions (R&D Chef / Executive Chef).
- Strong knowledge of food ingredients, industrial raw materials, and food science.
- Proven project management skills in food innovation.
- Expertise in recipe development, sensory evaluation, and menu engineering.
- Proficiency in Lean Management, digital recipe management systems, and inventory software.
- Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Fluent in English, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
