- Responsible for meeting Company's engineering quality levels for discipline on assigned projects.
- Oversees development of civil and structural steel design concepts and ensures proper application and execution.
- Develops scope of work documents related to civil works, site preparation, facility infrastructure, camps, topographical and geotechnical surveys, etc.
- Assists Contractor's teams to produce engineering/construction documents that meet the project requirements within the allocated schedule and budget.
- Verifies Contractor's work quality regarding specifications, reports, code application, submittal review, deliverables, and drawings.
- Checks that scope of work documents prepared by various contractors are reflective of project requirements and specifications.
- Carries out technical bid evaluations to ensure contractor compliance with project specifications.
- Reconciles any conflicting design requirements by providing solutions for alignment.
- Responds to Contractor technical queries, technical deviation, and concession requests.
- Provides technical responses to Contractor's variation requests.
- Ensures optimized and cost-effective design in all phases of the project and updates Company specifications by incorporating lessons learned.
- Manages work plans and deliverables on multiple projects within budgeted hours.
- Develops design concepts and basic engineering deliverables for new projects.
- Audits construction activities and assures that the works are in accordance with specifications.
- Works collaboratively with other disciplines to optimize design.
