JOB DESCRIPTION
We are currently seeking a Senior Civil Engineer, reporting directly to the Civil - Head of the Department to join our Civil team based in UAE - Abu Dhabi.

About the mission we offer you:
Reports operationally to the Civil Lead Engineer with the following responsibilities/profile, as a minimum:
Extensive Knowledge and Experience:

Should have extensive knowledge and experience in developing site layouts, grading plans, drainage systems, and foundation designs for oil and gas, offshore, and onshore projects.

3D Environment Experience:

Should have experience in handling civil design projects in a 3D environment using tools such as Civil 3D, Revit, or similar software.

Technical Management:

Provide technical management of the civil engineering personnel under their responsibilities, ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Team Guidance:

Provide guidance to all team members with proper work distribution and mentorship to enhance team performance and development.

Coordination with Specialists:

Coordinate activities with specialist engineers, such as geotechnical and structural leads, to ensure integrated project solutions.

Project Specifications Implementation:

Ensure implementation of project specifications, procedures, design requirements, and industry standards in all civil engineering activities.

Interdisciplinary Coordination:

Facilitate coordination with other disciplines, such as mechanical, electrical, and piping, to ensure cohesive project execution.

Client and Vendor Interaction:

Participate in meetings and assist in technical matters with clients, vendors, and contractors, providing expert civil engineering insights.

Project Reviews Participation:

Participate in key project reviews, site layout reviews, HAZOP, lessons learned workshops, constructability reviews, and design/model review meetings.

Effective Communication:

Should be a good communicator with effective written and oral communication abilities to convey technical information clearly and concisely.

3D Model Reviews:

Organize periodic internal 3D model reviews and assign job responsibilities to designers during this period to ensure project accuracy and efficiency.

Degree in Civil Engineering
Languages:

English + proficiency level (Basic, Professional, Fluent)
Main skills:

Should have extensive expertise in Civil Design/Engineering with at least 13 years experience in Major oil/gas offshore and onshore projects in the capacity of Lead or Area Lead Engineer.
