Roles and responsibilities

As a Finance Business Partner, youwill be a part of the Commercial Finance team with primaryresponsibility for analysis and reporting, budgeting andforecasting, and providing finance support to various stakeholdersin the business.

In this role, youwill:

  • Identify businessdrivers, perform analysis, implement new procedures and present tosenior executives
  • Drive understanding ofindividual business units within our group and support localaccounting teams to improve accountingpolicies
  • Manage the corporate businessreporting processes, including annual budgeting, long-termfinancial and cash flow forecasts, monthly/quarterly businessreviews, weekly metrics, and forecastupdates
  • Support the analysis of businessopportunities and investments
  • Lead andparticipate as a key finance stakeholder in cross-functional teamsand promote best practice throughout theorganization
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis asrequired

Requirements

  • Graduate degree inAccounting/Finance
  • Qualified accountantspreferred with excellent knowledge of accounting and financeprinciples
  • 6+ years of relevantexperience
  • Experience in building, managing,and analyzing financial reports and forecasttools
  • Experience building financial models inExcel
  • Knowledge and understanding of financialstatements and drivers that influence theP&L
  • Previous experience in businesstransformation is an asset
  • Demonstratedfinancial analysis and modeling skills
  • Strongproblem-solving skills with proven ability to work successfully inan ambiguous environment
  • Proven ability to meettight deadlines and prioritize workload
  • Strongcommunication skills, both verbal and written. Will need to becomfortable interacting with senior management across theorganization
  • Fluency in English is a must,Arabic advantageous
  • Highly analytical anddetail-oriented with high level of intellectualcuriosity
  • Self-driven, proactive individualwith motivation to grow and excel with a dynamic and face pacedteam environment

  • FinancialAnalysis : Strong ability to interpret financialdata, perform ratio analysis, and conduct financial modeling andforecasting.
  • Budgeting andForecasting : Expertise in creating detailedfinancial plans, budgets, and forecasts, and tracking performanceagainst them.
  • Advanced Excel andFinancial Software : Proficiency in Excel (includingpivot tables, advanced formulas, and data analysis) and financialsoftware such as SAP ,Oracle ,Hyperion , or AdaptiveInsights .
  • FinancialReporting : Ability to produce clear and concisefinancial reports for senior management andstakeholders.

2.BusinessAcumen

  • Understandingof Business Operations : Knowledge of how differentbusiness functions (e.g., marketing, sales, production) contributeto the financial outcomes of thecompany.
  • StrategicThinking : Ability to think long-term, understandmarket trends, and align financial goals with broader businessobjectives.
  • CommercialAwareness : Understanding of industry trends, marketforces, and competitor behavior to inform decision-making andstrategy.

3.Communication and RelationshipBuilding

  • StakeholderManagement : Ability to communicate complex financialinformation to non-finance stakeholders in a way that is easilyunderstandable andactionable.
  • Collaboration :Strong interpersonal skills to work across departments and buildrelationships with non-financial managers to influencedecision-making.
  • PresentationSkills : Experience presenting financial data andinsights to senior management, executives, or board members in aclear and impactful way.

4.Problem-Solving and AnalyticalSkills

  • AnalyticalThinking : Ability to analyze financial data,identify trends, and develop insights to support businessdecisions.
  • Solution-Oriented :Ability to offer practical, financially sound solutions to businesschallenges, particularly in areas such as cost control,profitability, and investmentplanning.

5. ProjectManagement

  • ProjectFinancial Management : Experience managing thefinancial aspects of projects, including cost estimation,budgeting, tracking expenditures, and analyzing return oninvestment (ROI).
  • ResourceAllocation : Ability to allocate financial resourceseffectively across projects and departments, ensuring optimalutilization.
