What you'll do?

  1. Strategic Leadership : Provide strategic leadership for the development, implementation, and evaluation of an innovative ICT strategy within SOPs guidelines.
  2. Research and Analysis : Manage and undertake research and analysis to inform school strategy and advise on emerging technologies and trends that can benefit the school.
  3. ICT Policies and Procedures : Ensure that educational ICT needs are understood and met, and further develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards for the use of ICT, including e-safety, health & safety, asset disposal, receiving and testing ICT equipment, data protection, internet use, email, security, and ICT resource management.
  4. ERP Systems Management : Manage the School ERP Systems, including SIS, Admission & Registration, Accounts, HR & Payroll, Fixed Assets, Inventory, Library, SMS, ID, and School Portal.
  5. Application Management : Perform application management for educational and school operations management applications such as ManageBac, ISAMS, ClassLink, School Buddy, FOCUS ERP, Olivier Library Management Solution, PayFort Payment Gateway, SeeSaw, Educational Resources Applications for Primary and Secondary divisions, School Internal SharePoint Portal, ASC Timetable Management Solution, Power Automate Apps, and Power BI Reports.
  6. Vendor Relationship Management : Manage relationships with vendors to ensure the best service and support for the school's ICT needs.
  7. Training and Education : Train and educate staff, students, and parents on the system and educational platform.
  8. Security Systems : Develop and implement appropriate security systems to protect hardware, data, and confidential information.
  9. Liaison between School and Group Digital and Technology : Act as a bridge between the School and Group Digital and Technology to ensure day-to-day ICT operations at the school are executed smoothly and Group-wide initiatives such as HRMS Roll-out for School and ERP Transformation for School are executed in collaboration with the School Team and Group Digital and Technology.
  10. Group Digital and Technology Policies, Standards and Guidelines : Confirming the ICT policies and guidelines as set aside by Group Digital and Technology standards.

Who you are?

  1. Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  2. Minimum 8-10 years of experience in IT Application Management, Vendor Management and Team Management mandatory in the education industry.
  3. Strong knowledge of Application Management, Infrastructure and network administration, hardware, software, and cybersecurity.
  4. Experience with cloud-based systems, learning management systems (LMS), and student databases.
  5. Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English to coordinate across departments, Parents, Teaching staff, Non-teaching staff, pupils and vendors.
