ROLEPROFILE

  • Ensure that the highest levels ofcustomer service are delivered by the entire store team at alltimes.
  • Create innovative approaches to attractnew customers, expand store traffic, and enhanceprofitability.
  • Track brand performance,reviewing stock levels and monitoring best sellers and slow-movingstock in order to generate ideas and action plans to increaseoverall sales.
  • Overall accountability forcompliance of subordinates with established company policies,procedures and standards, including, but not limited to, keeping offunds and properties, personnel practices, security, sales andrecord keeping procedures
  • Coach, train andmentor the store teams to enhance customer service levels throughbrand/product knowledge and overall understanding ofretail.
  • Ensure all Company Health &Safety, Security and Compliance policies are adhered to, raisingany concerns to the Excellence and Compliance team in a timelymanner.
  • Plan, organize and execute in-storeprocesses including cash intake and cash handling, stockroom andstock-take administration management.
  • Providecritical analytical feedback to the Operations, Buying and PlanningDepartments in relation to product, ranging, pricing, competitiveactivities and opportunities.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 4 – 5 years'industry experience with Managerial Backgroundexperience
  • A proven record of maximizingbusiness performance
  • Good understanding of maincustomer segments and helps team to understandthem.
  • Identifies critical paths and proactivelyconvenes the right stakeholder to ensure timely decisions aremade.
  • Makes hard decisions, knows when to makea call versus delegating upwards

  • Upselling andCross-Selling : Encouraging staff to upsell orcross-sell products, increasing sales and enhancing customersatisfaction.

3.Operations andAdministration

  • StockControl : Managing inventory levels, ensuringproducts are stocked, ordering new stock, and maintaining accuratestock records.
  • VisualMerchandising : Ensuring the store'sdisplays are attractive, organized, and in line with thebrand's visual guidelines to maximize sales and customerengagement.
  • Health andSafety : Ensuring the store adheres to health andsafety regulations, maintaining a safe and clean environment forboth customers and staff.
  • CashHandling and Financial Management : Overseeing cashhandling procedures, preparing bank deposits, and managing storefinances as required by the storemanager.

4.CommunicationSkills

  • EffectiveCommunication : Clear and open communication with theteam, customers, and other departments within thecompany.
  • Reporting :Reporting key metrics such as sales figures, stock levels, andstaff performance to the Store Manager and seniormanagement.
