About The Role As Head of Insights, you’ll lead our product analytics function and oversee user research. What You’ll Do Lead and develop our product analytics team, ensuring delivery of high‑impact, actionable insights. Partner with cross‑functional teams to drive a data culture, define success metrics and craft measurement plans. Translate data and user research into clear, compelling narratives that influence stakeholders. Build and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and data infrastructure to support self‑serve and strategic analytics. Design and evaluate experiments and causal analyses that inform product decisions and strategy. Define and maintain a consistent tracking and event taxonomy across the product. Identify new opportunities for leveraging data. Forecast trends, interpret complex data, and communicate actionable insights to stakeholders. Oversee the user research function, embedding customer insights throughout the product development lifecycle. Create scalable processes for insight delivery, balancing ad‑hoc needs with long‑term learning goals. Coach and grow talent across analytics and research disciplines. Champion a culture of analytics, promoting literacy across departments, and advocating for robust data governance practices. Be a champion of data‑informed decision making across the entire organization. Must‑Have Skills 10+ years in product analytics, data science, or insights in a B2B SaaS environment. Experience leading a data team. Track record of influencing product or business decisions through proactive insights. Strong command of SQL and fluency in at least one analytical language (e.g., Python or R). Hands‑on experience with product analytics tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Amplitude, Looker, GA). Experience with Snowflake or equivalent modern data warehouse technologies. Solid understanding of user research methodologies (e.g., interviews, usability tests, surveys). Experience leading a team and mentoring junior analysts or researchers. Excellent communication and storytelling skills—translating complexity into clarity. Nice to Have Prior ownership of both analytics and user research functions. Experience working in low‑volume, high‑complexity environments (e.g., B2B vs. B2C).
