AECOM Middle East are currently seeking aSenior Advisor in HR operations for our UAE business. The SeniorAdvisor will work under the direction of the HRBP assists inoverseeing the HR daytoday operations support for an EndMarket.  Providing operational HR support to ensure thatHR practices and policies align with the strategic objectives ofthe End Market.

CoreAccountabilities

  • Deliversaccurate and consistent advice and support to line managers on allaspects of employment policy and employee relationsissues
  • Assists in administration of HR programsfor the End Market.
  • Assists with administeringthe Performance Management Process for the EndMarket.
  • Responsible for the tracking andtrending of HR data in areas of responsibility (eg. sick leave exitinterviews mandatory training End Market reportsetc.).
  • Handles terminations and conducts exitinterviews.
  • Conducts new employee orientationswhen required.
  • Assists in organizationaltraining and development efforts.
  • Performsother duties as assigned.
  • Contributes to thedevelopment implementation and interpretation of new and existingHR programs and policies.
  • Contributes toinitiatives that will enhance motivation teambuilding and generalwelfare.
  • Responsible for facilitatingresolution to employee relations matters and minimizing risk tocompany.
  • Support capability development ofpeople managers on employee relations and performance activitiesthrough coaching and advice.
  • Refers to HRBP forguidance on more complex issues
  • Performs otherduties as assigned.

  • Ability to work on owninitiative and work well under pressure not afraid to askquestions
  • Flexibility to undertake site visits(has drivers license and is willing totravel)

  • Not afraid to deal withconflict calm under pressure

Qualifications:

Degree plus professionalmembership or working towards (CIPDetc.).
