Dubai Holding is looking to hire a Director – Rewards reporting to the Vice President – People Operations and Rewards at the corporate office. The role holder will be responsible for leading the Group's Total Rewards strategy for Dubai Holding. This includes designing and implementing competitive compensation, benefits, and performance management frameworks to attract, motivate, and retain talent. The role holder will drive policy changes based on market benchmarks, regulations, and business needs while serving as a strategic advisor to senior leadership. The role holder also oversees payroll, benefits, and performance programs, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and business alignment, while fostering a high-performing and collaborative Total Rewards team.

Key Accountabilities:
Strategic responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of the total rewards based on the Group's strategy and employee value proposition, the supply and demand of talent and market practices, to attract, motivate, and retain high-calibre employees through competitive and equitable compensation.
- Drive policy changes across the Group based on benchmarks, market practices, regulatory changes, or business requirements. Serve as the custodian of all policies, ensuring that all changes are reviewed and approved by the relevant approval authority.
- Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on total rewards and workforce planning matters.
Rewards Management:
- Design and implement competitive compensation structures aligned with diverse sector requirements and geographic locations, covering base pay, variable compensation, and performance-based incentives.
- Provide the HR team and Senior Management team with market-based and data-driven guidance related to Total Rewards best practices, decisions, actions, and plans.
- Oversee the maintenance of salary scales by grade, ensuring compliance with Corporate guidelines to maintain internal equity and external competitiveness while facilitating career progression and supporting retention strategies.
- Lead, manage, and constantly improve all HR services offered to colleagues including pension, medical insurance management and colleague services, to ensure colleague welfare.
- Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies to effectively convey the total rewards offerings, including compensation, benefits, and recognition programs.
- Develop capabilities in data analytics and reporting to forecast talent needs, manage turnover risks, and support compensation strategies. This involves using data to continually adjust programs to meet market and operational demands effectively.
- Ensure benefits programs are competitive, cost-effective, and aligned with employee needs and organizational objectives.
Performance Management:
- Establish and implement a comprehensive performance management framework that aligns individual and team goals with organizational objectives, driving high performance across all levels.
- Manage the performance evaluation process to ensure transparent, equitable, and data-driven assessments that recognize achievements and identify areas for improvement.
- Implement a continuous feedback mechanism to encourage ongoing dialogue between employees and managers, supporting professional development and timely performance issue resolution.
- Analyze performance data and its correlation with reward outcomes, providing leadership with insights for informed decisions on budget allocation and talent investment.
- Collaborate with leadership and HR teams to integrate the performance management framework with talent management and succession planning strategies.
- Regularly review and optimize performance-based rewards programs to maintain effectiveness and competitiveness.
- Develop and manage performance-based rewards systems that link employee compensation to individual and organizational performance.
Payroll Management:
- Supervise all payroll-related activities to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant processing of employee salaries, bonuses, and other compensation.
- Oversee payroll processing for regular, final settlements, pensions and adjustments in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
People Management:
- Foster cross-functional collaboration and alignment between the total rewards team in DH Corporate and other verticals to achieve shared business objectives.
- Cultivate a collaborative and inclusive team environment that encourages open communication, innovation, and best practice sharing.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing total rewards team, promoting continuous improvement and professional growth.
- Oversee the payroll team, ensuring seamless coordination with finance and other departments while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
Who we are looking for:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in HR with relevant experience in the areas of Total Rewards.
Education / Professional Certifications:
- Master's degree in business administration, Human Resources or Organizational Development from an accredited institution required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of HR functions & processes, with experience in HR Strategy or HR Technology.
