What will I bedoing

As a Telephone Operator youmust perform the following tasks to the higheststandards:

  • Achieve positive outcomesfrom Guest queries in a timely and efficientmanner
  • Demonstrate a high level of customerservice at all times
  • Attend appropriatetraining courses when required.
  • Demonstrate aknowledge of hotel room categories room rates packages promotionsand other general product knowledge necessary to perform dailyduties.
  • Follow company brandstandards
  • Assist other departments asnecessary
  • Answercalls originating from externaland internal sources.
  • Directcaller toappropriate extension or room.
  • Assist guestswith directions or other requiredinformation.
  • Communicateto callers in a clearand concise manner.
  • Input/writemessages usingproper grammar and spelling.
  • Verifynames andtelephone numbers.

In addition toperformance of the essential functions this position may berequired to perform a combination of the following supportivefunctions with the percentage of time performing each function tobe solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particularrequirements of the company.

  • Operatefacsimile to send and receive transmissions forguests.
  • Notify guests of receipts usingcomputer system.
  • Call for repair and technicalsupport of all computersbased PBXequipment.
