Role Overview and Responsibilities

Job Objective

Damas Jewellery is seeking a dynamic and strategic Content Manager to lead the development, execution, and management of content across all communication platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating compelling narratives that reflect the brand's luxury positioning while driving engagement, consistency, and growth across digital and offline channels.

  1. Develop and execute content strategies aligned with Damas Jewellery's brand objectives, marketing campaigns, and audience insights.
  2. Manage comprehensive content calendars to ensure timely delivery across platforms, including email calendars, social media, WhatsApp, direct communications, and website content briefs.
  3. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support key business goals, seasonal campaigns, and product launches.

2. Distribution & Channel Strategy:

  1. Platform Strategy: Tailor content strategies for each platform to maximize reach and engagement:
  2. Instagram & TikTok : Focus on visually compelling storytelling, reels, influencer collaborations, and trend-driven content.
  3. Snapchat : Create short, impactful content that resonates with younger audiences, leveraging AR filters and interactive formats.
  4. Website : Develop SEO-optimized content briefs, ensuring alignment with product storytelling and brand voice.
  5. Email Marketing : Craft targeted campaigns that drive conversion, incorporating personalized content and engaging visuals.
  6. WhatsApp & Direct Communication : Implement content strategies for personalized outreach, broadcast messages, and exclusive customer engagement.
  7. Ensure a unified omnichannel content strategy that aligns online and offline communications seamlessly.

3. Content Creation & Production:

  1. Write compelling scripts, copy, and visual creative briefs in line with Damas' luxury brand identity.
  2. Oversee the end-to-end content creation process, including concept development, production, and final delivery.
  3. Manage creator/influencer briefs and shoots, ensuring content aligns with brand aesthetics and campaign objectives.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  1. Work closely with in-house designers, outsourced agencies, videographers, and marketing teams to produce engaging, high-quality content.
  2. Work closely with the digital department to align on best practices for content distribution and performance optimization.
  3. Provide clear creative direction to ensure consistency in tone, style, and messaging across all assets.

5. Digital Performance & Optimization:

  1. Receive feedback from the Digital team regarding content performance and apply it to new content development, keeping a balance between equity and performance.

Required Experience, Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge

  1. Bachelor's degree in Arts, Photography, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in content management, preferably within the luxury or retail sectors.
  3. Knowledge in both Art Direction & Digital Content.
  4. Knowledge of local & GCC agencies & studios.
  5. Strong understanding of social media platforms, email marketing, website content management, and omnichannel strategies.
  6. Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a keen eye for detail.
  7. Experience in managing influencer collaborations, content shoots, and creative production.
  8. Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  9. Knowledge of new content trends & new technology related to content production (AI, editor, VFX production).
  10. Be content digital savvy and able to manage equity content, localized content, campaigns, digital, e-com, product, brand.
  11. Proficiency in content management systems and social media platforms.
  12. Manage a team of graphic designers.
  13. Arabic language proficiency is a must .
