As functional application administratorwithin Fleet Management you will lead the transition to our ShipMaintenance Management System (SMMS) a tailormade system forBoskalis. Your responsibilities include establishing a knowledgebase managing user inquiries creating training materials andcoordinating with stakeholders. You will also implement acommunication strategy to keep users informed aboutupdates. 

Your role ensures the SMMS ismaintained perfectly to prevent ships from coming to a standstill.You will travel to vessels as needed and possess excellentcommunication and customerfriendly skills. By taking theseadministrative and usercentric approaches you will enhance the userexperience and ensure successful applicationsupport. 
 
Yourresponsibilities as a functional applicationadministrator 

  • Act as theprimary contact for application users addressing inquiries FAQs andproviding guidance on applicationusage. 
  • Prepare and update trainingmanuals and materials forusers. 
  • Coordinate with variousstakeholders for application support and majorimprovements. 
  • Provide guidance tousers for daily issues and ensure effective communication ofimprovements and updates about theapplication. 
  • Provide and organizetraining sessions for newusers. 
  • Conduct User AcceptanceTesting (UAT) for hotfixes and changes and assist users in testingnew functionalities. 

Yourqualities and experience 
You can move ahead as afunctional application administrator if youhave:  

  • Bachelorsdegree in Information Technology Computer Science BusinessAdministration or a relatedfield. 
  • Relevant background andexperience in other asset management systems like Maximoetc. 
  • Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills. 
  • Ability tocoordinate with various stakeholderseffectively. 
  • Flexibility to adapt tochanging priorities andrequirements.
