- To actively participate in theproduction of the hotels annual budget and to assist in thecreation update and evaluation of the hotel Sales and Marketingplan.
- To set and effectively communicate thehotel pricing strategy by market segment with reference to marketintelligence buying patterns and pre determinedseasonality.
- To prepare and chair a weeklyRevenue Meeting. Collate and distribute meeting minutes of notes onforecast and strategy changes including weekly actionplan.
- To ensure compliance with brand regionaland owning company Processes and Procedures pertaining to RevenueManagement.
- To continuously manipulateavailability & rates while ensuring parity across alldistribution channels. This allows maximum flexibility tocapture all market buying patterns while optimisingREVPAR.

- Monitor competitor availability andpricing on a daily basis using all available tools such as IndustryReports Internet Ring Around Dummy Bookings etc and subsequentlyanalyse & report actual performance versus competitiveset.
- Ensure available technology (PMS &RMS) is fully utilized and understood according to propertyspecific business mix and requirements.
- Ensureoptimal use and measure performance on all distribution channels toensure that fair market share is achieved if not surpassed e.g.iHotelier GDS Tour Operators Small Luxury HotelsRegional and Corporate Sales Offices.
- Assistthe Sales & Marketing Team in devising marketing campaignsto ensure that the Hotel reaches the right people at the right timein the right place.
- Maintaining high standardsof data quality through systemmaintenance.
- Responsible to drive maximumrevenues through preferred Anantara Booking channels by applyingrelevant pricing and inventorymanagement.
- Ensure weekly/monthly reporting tothe regional/corporate office is adhered to in a timelymanner.
- Implement a database of historical dataand supervise its continuous daily capture and subsequently producea calendar of events required for revenue and pricingdecisions.
- Carry out analysis of BookingPatterns & Market Trends and ensure that these are recordedto facilitate future decisions.
- Liaise withCorporate Marketing to ensure all promotion / programmes are fullyunderstood and right for thebusiness.
- Understand the dynamics of the GlobalNational Regional & Local Political and Economic Marketlocal Competitors and all demand generators for thedestination.
- Be responsible for all Recruitment& Selection into the Revenue/Reservationdepartment.
- Ensure an effective Training& Development Calendar is in place & adhered tothat all Team members have a Personal Development Plan and clearlydefined objectives and that a Succession Plan exists within thedepartment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorsdegree in Business Administration
- Minimum of3 years of experience in revenue management or a relatedfield with a proven track record of driving revenuegrowth
- Strong analytical skills withproficiency in financial analysis and revenueforecasting
- Experience with CRM software anddata analytics tools
- Excellent presentation andnegotiation skills
- Indepth knowledge of revenuemanagement strategies and pricing optimizationtechniques
- Demonstrated ability to develop andimplement successful revenue growthinitiatives
- Strong leadership skills with theability to influence and motivate crossfunctionalteams
- Excellent communication and interpersonalskills
- Ability to thrive in a fastpaced dynamicenvironment and adapt to changing marketconditions
