FUNCTIONALRESPONSIBILITIES

Perform pre preparation task for mould changing in order to ensureminimum mould changingtime.

Load the mould efficiently as per the standing operating procedures(SOP) given and set the machine and the process as per the productspecification.

Contribute in achieving production target through effective processcontrol.

Observe active machines to identify abnormalities in machineoperation and take corrective action ifrequired.

Carry out cleaning/ maintenance of change parts and mouldaccessories after production run and ensure proper storage withidentification.

To ensure cleaning of material handling equipment is carried out atregularinterval.

Check the mould moving parts and lubricate it and maintain a dailyrecord of thesame.

Perform minor maintenance as required and provide assistance ingeneral maintenance ifrequired.

Perform in process quality checks which requires accurate machineand process setting to obtain productionefficiency.

Verify the accuracy of product specification and ensure Qualitypersonnel and Production supervisors approval on production datasheet during mould and jobchanges .

Maintain the mould history cards and report it to the Supervisorand/or Production Executive if any work needs to be carriedout.

Observe safety precautions on priority especially during mouldchanges and be vigilant to identify potential hazards and takenecessary measures to avoid anycalamities.

Follow company s HSE guidelines in respect of all operationsundertaken.

Observe SOP being followed by personnel on shop floor and provideon job training to ensure strict compliance to policies andprocedures.

Train mentor and provide direction to machine operators onequipment processes andprocedures.

Performany other job/task given by the Production Supervisor to accomplishdepartmentobjectives.

Requirements

Education/Qualifications

ITI

Specialtrainings preferably in Plasticproduction.

Agefactor maximum 35years.

Experience

Minimumof 24 years of technical experience in manufacturing industrypreferably industrial product plastic and orpackaging.

Atleast 56 years of handson experience in plastic manufacturingindustry (in case there is no ITIqualification)

FunctionalSkills & SpecificKnowledge

Knowledgeof productionprocess.

Knowledgeof mould changing /setting.

Knowledgeand experience in Mechanical Electrical and hydraulic equipmentpreferred

Knowledgeof related machines and its operationpreferred
