Job Purpose
The School Registrar will work as a key member of the school Admissions Team and will deal with all government-related documentation and information management for students to ensure school compliance in all areas related to student registration, enrolment, and graduation.
The School Registrar will build positive professional relationships with external regulatory bodies in Dubai / Abu Dhabi and will be the in-school expert on processes related to the registration of students.
The School Registrar will also have the ability to support the HR Officer with regulatory requirements relating to staff if needed.
When the School Registrar is not occupied with KHDA tasks, they will assist the Admissions Manager with relevant admissions-related tasks assigned to them in order to meet the school's expected enrolment target.

Key Accountabilities

  1. Liaise with KHDA to make sure all new students are registered.
  2. Put in request for transfer documents within KHDA system.
  3. Register Arabic A and B students according to nationality and passport.
  4. Student data entry / update student entries.
  5. Create a checklist of the documents required for each position – Admin/Local/International/Principal/Nurse etc., and update on an annual basis.
  6. Enter data for students and validate information from documents.
  7. Transfer students through the system to other Dubai schools.
  8. Obtain leaving certificates for students leaving the UAE.
  9. Manage year group / grade movements of students each academic year.
  10. Arrange Arabic A & B through the system and monitor exemptions.
  11. Update class lists and students' information with regard to Emirates ID.
  12. Support the HR Advisor with HR-related duties as required, particularly relating to Immigration/KHDA or tasks which require Arabic reading, speaking, and writing.
  13. Ensure annual enrolment processes, such as the registration of students and contract signing, are completed within the agreed timeline.
  14. Any other duties as reasonably expected by the Admissions Manager including managing enquiries and offers, conducting tours, managing assessments, and meeting with walk-in families.
  15. Provide exceptional customer service at all times, on the telephone, via email, and in person.
