- Prepare quantity take-offs fromengineering drawings in order to facilitate the timely procurementof materials.
- Control and monitor the sitestaff continuously to ensure that the maximum outputs are achievedand subsequently the required work progress ismaintained.
- Plan, execute, monitor, evaluateand follow site progress, inspections and approvals closely andcontinuously to ensure that the project activities are completed tothe specified technical standards within the requiredtime.
- Follow and monitor the materialsrequirements continuously with procurement/stores to ensure theuninterrupted sourcing to the site works and further ensure thatthe materials are compiled to the technicalspecifications.
- Make necessary coordinationbetween project management and site supervisory staff by means ofeffective communications to facilitate smooth siteoperation.
- Always liaise with necessaryinternal parties and closely follow the QA/QC, safety procedure toensure that the highest standards are maintained.
Requirements
- B.Sc. Engineering(Mechanical/Electrical) or similardiscipline.
- Minimum years of relevantexperience: 3-5 years of overall experience in the constructionsector (MEP)
- Leadership skills, hardworking andresult-oriented attitudes arerequired.
- Language –English
- Computer Skills, i.e. MicrosoftOffice
- Communicationskills
Project Planning andCoordination :
- PlanningWork Schedules : Developing detailed work plans andschedules, ensuring resources (material, equipment, labor) areavailable when needed to keep the project ontrack.
- Coordination withStakeholders : Coordinating with architects,contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure that allproject elements align and progress asplanned.
- Reporting :Providing regular progress reports on work completed, issuesencountered, and any changes made to theproject.
ManagingSiteOperations :
- OverseeingConstruction Activities : Supervising day-to-dayoperations on the construction site, ensuring that tasks arecompleted efficiently and according toschedule.
- SiteSafety : Implementing and monitoring safety protocolsand practices on-site to prevent accidents and injuries, ensuringcompliance with local safety regulations andstandards.
- QualityControl : Ensuring that the construction work meetsthe required quality standards, specifications, and building codes.Regularly inspecting work to identify potential problems andimplementing correctivemeasures.
TechnicalSupport andProblem-Solving :
- ResolvingTechnical Issues : Providing technical support to theproject team by addressing any engineering or design-relatedchallenges that arise duringconstruction.
- DesignImplementation : Ensuring the construction processfollows the technical specifications outlined in the projectdesign. This may include interpreting blueprints, schematics, andengineering plans.
- Adapting toChanges : Making adjustments to the constructionprocess if changes are needed, such as modifications to designs orunforeseen issues duringconstruction.

- MaterialManagement : Ensuring that the necessary constructionmaterials are delivered on time and are used effectively,preventing waste and ensuringcost-efficiency.
