JobOverview:

We are seeking a reliable andorganized Storekeeper to join our team. The Storekeeper will beresponsible for managing and maintaining the inventory ofconstruction materials and equipment. The ideal candidate will haveexperience in a similar role and possess excellent organizationaland communication skills.

KeyResponsibilities:

  • Receive andinspect all incoming materials and equipment ensuring they meet therequired specifications and quality standards
  • Maintain accurate records of all inventory including stock levelslocation and movement
  • Coordinate withsuppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials andequipment
  • Issue materials and equipment toconstruction teams as per their requirements
  • Conduct regular stock checks to identify any discrepancies orshortages
  • Maintain a clean and organizedwarehouse ensuring all materials are stored safely andsecurely
  • Prepare and submit reports oninventory levels stock movement and any issues orconcerns
  • Collaborate with the procurement teamto ensure adequate supply of materials andequipment
  • Follow all safety procedures andprotocols while handling and storing materials andequipment

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma orequivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience asa Storekeeper in a construction company or similarindustry
  • Knowledge of construction materialsand equipment
  • Proficient in using inventorymanagement software
  • Strong organizational andtimemanagement skills
  • Excellent communicationand interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in afastpaced environment and handle multiple taskssimultaneously
  • Attention to detail andaccuracy
  • Physically fit and able to lift andmove heavy materials and equipment
  • Knowledgeof safety protocols and procedures
