To manage the Onboarding function,ensuring the smooth joining and integration of new employees intothe organisation while ensuring compliance with procedural andstatutory requirements.
Essential Roles andResponsibilities
FunctionalHRSS Roles andResponsibilities
- Adviseand guide the HR team and Line Managers on all procedural/ legalobligations regarding visas, medicals, health cards, etc., for newemployees. Highlight possible risks, delays, etc., to secure/protect the best interest of the Group.
- Incases of unforeseen delays/ issues with specific new employeecases, review them with Line HR and GR to resolve the issue orre-align expectations to manage the onboarding services valuechain.
- Oversee the coordination between thecandidate (post-offer acceptance) and all other concerneddepartments to ensure smooth relocation and joining of thecandidate. Ensure that the candidate and all concerned departmentsare in constant communication and aware of each stage of theprocess as per the established onboarding communication grid andschedule.
- Negotiate and agree within policyrates for airline and hotel stay rates with the in-house TravelAgency and for staff transportation needs as mandated for providingrelevant services to employees as per ATG standards and SLA/ policyguidelines.
- Ensure that the travelarrangements, airport pickup, accommodation, and advances for newemployees are consistently applied and in line with theGroup's policy and standards.
- Overseethe joining and induction formalities for all new employees,ensuring that the sessions are in accordance with theGroup's standards and that the information shared isaccurate and relevant.
- Direct the coordinationof medical and health card formalities and visa stamping for allnew employees. Ensure that these are processed per the defined SLAsand that the Group is not exposed to unwarrantedrisks.
- Personally manage the joining,relocation assistance and onboarding of employees in the seniormanagement cadre.
- Ensure applicable systemupdates, where mandated/ required, suitable documentation andrecord keeping align with all internal and external auditrequirements.
- Analyse trends and makerecommendations/ reports based on the Induction Feedback report tothe Head of HRSS.
Functional Government RelationsRoles andResponsibilities
- Independentlymanage and oversee ATG's visa management and work permitactivities in the UAE.
- Lead the in-houseImmigration and MoHRE team members to deliver efficient,cost-effective processes for the Group's employingentities following relevant SLAs andKPIs.
- Provide advisory services to theGroup's businesses and management based on applicablelaws, regulations, and market trends.
- Work withthe Head of HRSS on any HR analytics, reporting or technologyprojects and activities that may improve service delivery,efficiency, and effectiveness in GovernmentServices.
- Deliver efficient and effectiveprocesses for new joiners, renewals, leavers, and other scheduledor ad hoc activities.
- Coordinate with thirdparties, joint ventures, and the relevant Government authorities,and attend in-person activities with the Government, typing centresor other third parties as and whenrequired.
- Ensuring continuously improvingemployee experience is at the heart of the Immigrationteam's service delivery and processmanagement.
- Work with the Head of HRSS todesign streamlined processes for seamless integration betweenGovernment Services and operational departments such as Onboarding,Offboarding, the helpline, and the Emiratisationdepartment.
- Deliver transactional and standardHR services on time and per the definedSLAs.
- Ensure compliance with local labour laws,regulations, and ATG's policies andguidelines.
- Drive innovation in GovernmentServices practices through bots, cloud-based technology, andartificial intelligence, among other available and currenttools.
- Independently manage and overseeATG's visa management and work permit activities in theUAE.
- Lead the in-house Immigration and MoHREteam members to deliver efficient, cost-effective processes for theGroup's employing entities following relevant SLAs andKPIs.
