Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Government Relations Lead to join our team at Al Rostamani Group.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of UAE labor laws and regulations, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Smooth facilitation of government-related HR processes (visa processing, labor approvals, permits, and employee documentation).
  • Proactive monitoring of new regulations and compliance with UAE labor laws.
  • Effective resolution of labor disputes and guidance on employee rights and obligations.
  • Achievement of Emiratisation targets and alignment with national workforce participation goals.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with government entities.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure organizational compliance with UAE labor laws and GPSSA requirements.
  • Liaise with government bodies to secure necessary permits, licenses, and approvals.
  • Oversee the visa application and renewal process for expatriate staff.
  • Manage the onboarding process, ensuring completion of all government-mandated documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align HR practices with regulatory requirements.
  • Address any labor disputes and government-related inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Provide clear, proactive guidance to both management and employees on government procedures and labor rights.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to HR and government interactions.
  • Ensure adherence to SLAs and drive operational excellence.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years in a similar role with a focus on HR government services
  • Demonstrated success in managing government relationships and ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will also need:

  • Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws, regulations, and government procedures.
  • Preferable SAP or comparable ERP systems and HRIS software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with government officials and internal stakeholders.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to managing labor disputes and regulatory challenges.
  • A customer service mindset with a focus on operational excellence.
  • Integrity and Ethics: Commitment to transparency and ethical behavior in all dealings.
  • Strategic Thinking and Initiative: Proactive identification and resolution of issues, with a drive for continuous improvement and change.
