KeyResponsibilities :

  1. Installationof PlumbingSystems :

    • Installnew plumbing systems including pipes fixtures and appliances toilets water heaters).
    • Ensureall installations comply with safety regulations and local plumbingcodes.

  2. MaintenanceandRepairs :

    • Performroutine maintenance to keep plumbing systems functioning properlyincluding cleaning drains checking water pressure and inspectingpipes.
    • Diagnose and repair plumbingissues such as leaks clogs low water pressure and faulty plumbingfixtures.

  3. Troubleshooting :

    • Usespecialized tools and techniques (e.g. pressure gauges pipecameras) to identify plumbingproblems.
    • Solve complex plumbingissues and offer costeffective solutions for repairs orreplacements.

  4. Inspection :

    • Conductregular inspections of plumbing systems to ensure they meet safetyand code standards.
    • Advise clientson potential plumbing issues and recommend necessary repairs orupgrades.

  5. CustomerInteraction :

    • Communicatewith customers to explain plumbing issues solutions and estimatedcosts for repairs.
    • Provide excellentcustomer service ensuring client satisfaction and addressingconcerns orquestions.

  6. DocumentationandReporting :

    • Maintainaccurate records of services provided including detailed notes onrepairs maintenance andinstallations.
    • Generate invoices forservices rendered and ensure that all work is documented forbillingpurposes.

  7. CompliancewithRegulations :

    • Ensureplumbing installations and repairs meet all local building codessafety standards and environmentalregulations.
    • Obtain permits andschedule necessary inspections as required for specific plumbingprojects.

  8. Tooland EquipmentManagement :

    • Maintainclean and manage plumbing tools and equipment to ensure properfunctioning and safety.
    • Keep toolsand materials organized for efficient jobcompletion.
Skills&Qualifications :

  • Education :

    • Highschool diploma orequivalent.
    • Completion of anapprenticeship or technical training program in plumbing ispreferred.
    • Plumbing certificationsand licensing may be required (depending onlocation).

  • Experience :

    • Previousexperience as a plumber or plumbing technician is oftenrequired.
    • Experience working withresidential commercial and industrial plumbingsystems.

  • Skills :

    • Knowledgeof plumbing codes safety standards andregulations.
    • Proficiency in usingplumbing tools and diagnostic equipment (e.g. pipe cameras pressuregauges augers).

    • Excellent communicationskills to interact with clients and teammembers.

  • PhysicalRequirements :

    • Abilityto lift and carry heavy tools and plumbing materials (up to 50lbs).
    • Comfortable working inconfined spaces at heights or in challengingenvironments.
WorkingConditions :
  • Location :Residential homes commercial buildings industrial facilitiesconstruction sites or clientsproperties.
  • Hours :Fulltime with occasional overtime or emergency calloutsrequired.
