Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' oral health, providing accurate diagnoses and treatment plans. Perform a variety of surgical procedures including tooth extractions, implant placements, and jaw surgeries. Manage all aspects of pre-operative and post-operative patient care, ensuring optimal recovery and satisfaction. Educate patients about their treatment options, risks, and aftercare instructions. Work collaboratively with dental hygienists, assistants, and other specialists to deliver comprehensive care. Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and sterilization standards in the surgery suite. Stay informed about the latest advancements in oral surgery techniques and patient care practices. Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from an accredited dental school. Completion of a residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in oral surgery or related field. Board certification in Oral Surgery is preferred. Strong clinical and surgical skills with attention to detail. Exceptional communication skills for effective patient interactions. Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
