JobSummary:

The R&D Executive withProcurement and Purchase is responsible for overseeing research anddevelopment projects while managing procurement and purchasingactivities. This role ensures that all materials and servicesrequired for R&D projects are sourced efficiently andcosteffectively maintaining high standards of quality andcompliance.

KeyResponsibilities:

  1. Research and Development:
  • Lead and manage R&D projectsfrom conception to completion.
  • Collaboratewith crossfunctional teams to develop innovative products andsolutions.
  • Conduct market research to identifynew trends and technologies.
  • Prepare andpresent project reports and findings to seniormanagement.
  1. Procurement and Purchasing:
  • Develop and implement procurementstrategies to support R&D activities.
  • Identify and evaluate suppliers based on quality cost anddelivery reliability.
  • Negotiate contracts andterms with suppliers to secure the best value.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers toensure timely delivery of materials.
  1. VendorManagement:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliersand vendors.
  • Conduct regular performancereviews and audits of suppliers.
  • Resolve anyissues or discrepancies with suppliers promptly.
  1. Budget and CostManagement:
  • Develop and manage budgets for R&D and procurementactivities.
  • Identify costsaving opportunitieswithout compromising quality.
  • Track and reporton spending and budget variances.
  1. Compliance andDocumentation:
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with companypolicies and regulations.
  • Maintain accuraterecords of all procurement transactions and contracts.
  • Prepare and manage documentation for audits andcompliance reviews.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in R&D and procurementroles.
  • Strong negotiation and vendormanagement skills.
  • Excellent analytical andproblemsolving abilities.
  • Proficiency inprocurement software and ERP systems.
  • Strongcommunication and interpersonal skills.
