Senior Payment Application Architect (Card Processing Expert)

Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Payment Application Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of payment applications, focusing on core, switch, certificates, HSM Keys, and cards. Card processing experience is a MUST , and the successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in payment applications, microservices architecture, and API integration, with a strong understanding of industry payment protocols and experience in implementing end-to-end solutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Development: Design and develop payment applications, including core, switch, certificates, HSM Keys, and cards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business requirements and technical feasibility.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including High-Level Design (HLD), Functional Specification Document (FSD), and project architecture.
  • Microservices Architecture: Design and implement microservices-based architecture for payment applications.
  • Ensure seamless integration with existing systems and services.
  • Optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • API Integration and Multilayered Architectures: Integrate payment applications with multiple APIs and systems.
  • Design and implement multilayered architectures to ensure data security and integrity.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • End-to-End Solution Implementation: Lead the implementation of end-to-end solutions, from analysis to production deployment.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely and successful delivery.
  • Ensure quality of deliverables to ensure long-term stability of the system.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in using Postman, Soap, Selenium, JUnit, and DevOps tools.
  • Excellent understanding of solution architecture and solution designs.
  • Experience in business analysis and system implementation.
  • Working knowledge of industry payment-related protocols, including ISO8583, ISO9564, PIN encryptions, VISA, MasterCard, and card-related protocols.
  • Cards and Payment Processing: Mandatory experience in card processing, including implementation of card-related protocols and APIs, such as VISA and MasterCard.
  • Understanding of card payment processing, including authorization, settlement, and reconciliation.
  • Familiarity with card security standards, such as PCI-DSS.
  • Functional Skills: Experience in banking, financial, and fintech environments, preferably in an enterprise environment.
  • Experience in Agile methodology and other development life cycles.
  • Effective research and benchmarking of technology against best-in-class technologies.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Change Release Process: Hands-on experience in change release process, including planning, execution, and deployment.
  • Ensure minimal disruption to production services and systems.
  • Quality and Stability: Focus on quality of deliverables to ensure long-term stability of the system.
  • Identify and address potential issues before they impact production services.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in card processing (core, switch, certificates, HSM Keys, and cards).
  • Good experience in microservices architecture.
  • Good experience of handling multiple projects.
  • Experience in implementing end-to-end solutions (from analysis to production movement).
  • Good experience in API integration and multilayered architectures.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Postman, Soap, Selenium, JUnit, and DevOps tools.
  • Excellent understanding of solution architecture and solution designs.
  • Experience in business analysis and system implementation.
  • Working knowledge of industry payment-related protocols, including ISO8583, ISO9564, PIN encryptions, VISA, MasterCard, and card-related protocols.
  • Experience in banking, financial, and fintech environments, preferably in an enterprise environment.

Nice to Have:
