Responsible formonitoring the progress costs and schedule for the Projectidentifying issues and recommending corrective actions. The ProjectControls Leads on each Contract report to the Project ControlsManager
Duties andResponsibilities:
Assist the ProjectDirector in developing the overall Project Masterschedule
Implement and maintain timely and effectiveproject controls process procedures and systems including schedulemanagement cost management and change management
Provideproject controls requirements to be included in allContracts
Review all Contractor schedules and progressreports
Provide project cost and schedule forecasts basedon documented and observed trends
Facilitate interactiveplanning sessions with Contractors
Maintain a change logfor the PMC Agreement and assist the Procurement / ContractsManager with maintain change logs for all Contracts
Beknowledgeable of the PMC Agreement terms and conditions and theterms and conditions of all Contracts and assist the ProjectDirector Project Managers and Procurement/Contracts Manager withthe management of the Contracts for the maximum benefit of theCompany
Advise the Project Director and Project Managersof developments that may affect project costs or schedules andassist in developing alternative options
Establish andmaintain communications to ensure accurate and timely flow ofinformation
Provide project cost and schedule forecastsbased on documented and observed trends
Assist the ProjectDirector in the preparation of all Project Progressreports
Qualifications :
Proficient in managing anddirecting people communications (both written and verbal)negotiation skills and computer skills with Microsoft Officeproducts
Proficient in Consultant cost and schedulingsoftware
B.Sc. in any engineering discipline or equivalentCollege degree or equivalent experience
8 to 10 yearsindustry experience
Relevant experience in projectcontrols leading the project controls effort
Demonstratedcompetency in understanding of project controlsprocesses
