  • Establish measures to preventfire or to minimize the effects of fire on life, property andoperations.
  • Ensure Dubai Municipality and DubaiCivil Defence rules and regulations regarding Environment, Healthand Safety are practised by all at the mall(AGC).
  • Establish emergency plans to deal withpossible catastrophes involving Al Ghurair Properties'operations, such as fires, explosions, spills and releases ofhazardous materials and loss ofutilities.
  • Establish work rules andcommunicates information to employees to insure safe work habits,awareness of hazards and the use of appropriateprotection.
  • Evaluate materials and equipment tocontrol any work place hazard.
  • Maintain aninventory of chemicals used in the mall and premises and obtainingtechnical data regarding their use, handling anddisposal.
  • Organize regular training for thestaff in H&S procedures.
  • Develop andmaintain appropriate HSE programrecords.

Who youare?

  • Engineering degree/ diploma with additional qualifications or certifications in HSE(OSH / NEBOSH / IGC) required.
  • 10 years in HSEdepartment in a reputed organization including significant UAEexperience
  • Prior experience in hotel / mall /residential & commercial propertiespreferred.
  • Additional technical qualificationsin electrical and A/C is an advantage.
  • UAEdriving license required.

  • IncidentAnalysis : Investigating workplace incidents andaccidents to determine root causes and implementing correctiveactions.
  • Reporting :Documenting incidents and preparing detailed reports that outlinecauses, corrective actions, and lessonslearned.
  • RegulatoryReporting : Ensuring timely reporting of incidents torelevant authorities and regulatory bodies as per compliancerequirements.

  • EmployeeTraining : Designing and delivering safety trainingprograms to employees, ensuring they are aware of potential hazardsand how to preventaccidents.
