The position is located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Overview Of The Role The Vehicle Preparation Coordinator enhances the overall customer experience by ensuring that vehicles prepared by the team meet Hertz standards. The role involves managing car washers, conducting quality checks, overseeing inventory, and reporting productivity. What You Will Do Quality Checks Ensure random checks of 5 vehicles per shift to maintain cleaning standards. Report any discrepancies promptly to the Team Leader. Train VPAs on acceptance criteria, preparation standards, and damage identification. Huddle Board Update Update the Huddle board before each shift. Conduct a huddle with all VPAs at shift start. Order of Production Bar Update Update the Order of Production Bar with required vehicle cards. Reconcile the manifest with the excel file maintained by the Shift Supervisor. Ensure VPAs select and prepare correct vehicles according to the Substitution Matrix. VPA Productivity Report Ensure VPA productivity report is updated daily. Share daily Car Wash report and weekly productivity report with the Team Leader. Vehicle Cleaning Material Procurement and Inventory Maintain proper inventory of all materials required for vehicle cleaning. Coordinate with vendors to obtain materials at competitive rates. Fuel Management Enter daily Fuel Consumption entries. Perform daily Fuel Consumption Comparison and share report with Team Leader. Order fuel as per SOP. Yard Cleaning Management and Wastewater Management Manage yard cleaning according to agreement with Facilities. Contact waste company for garbage removal. Check tank level and coordinate wastewater management with vendor. Receive service reports and handle Trade Waste Discharge Permit Letters. Lost and Found Items Management Record all Lost and Found items in the log. Manage items according to standard work procedures. Admin and Inventory Inventory dirty branches to avoid aging vehicles and child seats. Perform DSM inventory daily. Ensure correct transfers and daily closure of open NRTs. Required Skills Professional communication and presentation skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence. Strong customer interaction capabilities. Effective team-building and leadership qualities. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Minimum 2 years experience managing people in a logistical role. Over 5 years experience in the automotive industry. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer interaction skills.
