About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled International Tax Manager to join our team at Antal International. As a key member of our tax team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality tax services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Engagement Team: Collaborate with our engagement team to execute and complete tax projects across various industries, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Provide Tax Expertise: Offer innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance expertise to clients, managing budgets and ensuring effective tax strategies.
  • Transaction Services: Work closely with Transaction Services colleagues to focus on the tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions, and other transactions-related work.
  • Due Diligence: Assist in conducting buy-side and sell-side tax due diligence, advising on tax-efficient acquisitions and divestments, and reviewing transaction documents.
  • Research and Communication: Be involved in researching tax issues, preparing written communication in a succinct and deal-driven manner, and assisting clients with responses to tax authorities.
  • Client Management: Monitor client WIP and ensure a positive contribution is made to departmental billings.
  • Team Collaboration: Coordinate with other colleagues locally and globally to deliver M&A Tax engagements.
Requirements
  • Foundational Knowledge: Possess good foundational knowledge of tax principles and regulations.
  • Problem-Solving: Display initiative to solve routine problems and analyze data from various sources.
  • Education: Hold a Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting with a specialization in tax.
  • Professional Qualification: Be studying towards the CTA/ACCA or an equivalent professional qualification relevant to tax services.
  • Technical Skills: Be comfortable using Microsoft packages and technology.
