Job Overview

As a Senior Civil Engineer at Saipem, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful execution of projects by providing technical expertise and support to the Civil and Structural Lead. Your primary responsibilities will include performing technical tasks, verifying calculations, and checking activities to ensure compliance with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Technical Support and Collaboration
    Provide technical support to the Civil and Structural Lead and other discipline specialists to ensure seamless project execution.
  2. Project Planning and Coordination
    Interface with other discipline specialists to gather information and coordinate activities performed within or outside the company.
  3. Methodology Development and Improvement
    Gather and provide records of experiences to improve and harmonize work methodologies.
Additional Responsibilities
  1. Development and Commercial Support
    Provide technical support to the Discipline Leader for the preparation of requests for quotation for items not estimated in-house.
  2. Feasibility Studies
    Analyze and understand tender documentation to identify technical queries, deviations, and alternatives to be submitted or implemented.
  3. Bidding Phase and Commercial Proposal Development
    Implement bidding methodologies, design criteria, and guidelines to ensure optimized quantity estimation and technical support.
