We are seeking a highly skilled English Editor to write, edit, and proofread high-quality content for various platforms. The ideal candidate must have exceptional editorial judgment, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to refine complex information into clear and engaging content.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write, edit, and proofread clear, engaging, and high-quality English content for reports, speeches, press releases, digital platforms, and social media.
- Ensure all content aligns with brand tone, style, and editorial guidelines.
- Adapt content for various audiences and formats while maintaining consistency.
Quality Control & Proofreading:
- Ensure grammatical accuracy, clarity, and coherence in all written materials.
- Maintain consistency in style, tone, and messaging across different content types.
- Verify accuracy of information and sources.
- Work closely with internal teams, designers, and external stakeholders to develop strategic content.
- Liaise with leadership to refine key messages and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in writing, editing, and proofreading English content.
- Native or near-native English proficiency with excellent writing and editing skills.
- Strong ability to simplify complex ideas into clear and engaging language.
- Proven experience in multi-platform content creation, including print, digital, and social media.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines without compromising quality.
- Familiarity with government communication standards and editorial best practices is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working in government, corporate communications, or media.
- Strong research skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
