Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Instructor to join our team at Emirates. As a key member of our engineering training department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training programs to licensed aircraft engineers and technicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Type Rating Training: Deliver comprehensive type rating training programs for aircraft maintenance engineers and technicians, ensuring they meet the operational requirements of Emirates.
  • Develop and Review Training Materials: Create and update training materials, including training notes, aids, and presentations, to ensure they align with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Examination and Assessment: Develop and administer examinations to assess the knowledge and skills of trainees, ensuring they meet the required standards.
  • Course Development: Collaborate with the Engineering Type Training Manager to develop new courses and review existing ones, ensuring they meet the needs of the organization and industry standards.
  • Training Delivery: Deliver training sessions, including classroom and practical simulator sessions, to ensure trainees receive high-quality instruction and hands-on experience.
  • On-Line Distance Learning: Familiarize yourself with conducting on-line distance learning training through MS Teams, a standardized platform used by Emirates.
  • Invigilation and Examination Management: Invigilate examinations and ensure examinees follow prescribed procedures, maintaining standards and requirements in the examination hall.
Requirements
  • Engineering Experience: 8+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance engineering, with at least 3 years as an aircraft instructor or licensed aircraft holder with 12 years of experience in maintenance engineering.
  • Qualifications: Degree in engineering, aeronautical subjects, mechanical, avionics, electronic, or technical engineering, or holding an aircraft maintenance engineer's license (B1/B2).
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Ability to train, coach, counsel, and guide, with excellent report writing and analytical thinking skills.
  • Leadership Role: Yes, this role requires leadership skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
