Job Responsibilities

The Human Resources Business Partner will be responsible for providing strategic inputs and direction by designing, developing, and implementing programs in consultation with relevant stakeholder groups, ensuring consistent application of P&O policies, and providing timely responses to employee concerns. They will also provide day-to-day guidance regarding the application and interpretation of P&O practices, policies, and procedures, as well as responsive and high-quality support, training, and advice to parts of the business for appropriate management of employee issues, including change management, grievances, poor performance, and disciplinary action.

  • Developing and implementing strategies to enhance employee engagement and retention;
  • Providing guidance on the application and interpretation of P&O policies and procedures;
  • Supporting managers in handling progressive disciplinary action and other employment matters;

The ideal candidate will have 12-15 years of progressive experience in a similar role, with at least 3 years of leadership experience, and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources/Business Administration or a relevant field. A Master's degree or equivalent in Human Resources/Business Administration or a relevant field is desired. Recognized Human Resources certifications such as CIPD or SPHR are also highly desirable.

Key Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A deep understanding of human resources principles and practices;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • A strong analytical and problem-solving ability;
  • Experience in a large healthcare facility is highly desirable;
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent in human resources/business administration or a relevant field; and
  • Recognized human resources certifications such as CIPD or SPHR.
