- Liaison Role: Act as the primary contact between research investigators, clinical staff, and the administration, facilitating communication regarding protocol interpretation and participant safety.
- Nursing Process Utilization: Apply nursing principles to provide comprehensive care to research participants.
- Care Evaluation: Direct and assess the quality of nursing care delivered to research subjects, prioritizing patient needs and appropriately delegating tasks based on staff competencies.
- Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough evaluations of research subjects, documenting findings and promptly notifying physicians of any abnormalities.
- Care Planning: Collaborate with patients, families, and the research team to establish and implement individualized care plans.
- Ongoing Care Coordination: Ensure continuous care and support for research participants throughout the study.
- Discharge Planning: Identify and address discharge needs, facilitating smooth transitions for participants.
