Digital Asset Risk Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement risk models for quantifying the firm's overall risk exposure on the market making books.
  • Roll out and monitor agreed market risk frameworks for the management of market risks.
  • Ensure relevant risk measures, controls and processes are in place, and run daily monitoring and reporting to stakeholders.
  • Make transparent risk decisions and explain rationales in a professional manner.
  • Prepare regular or ad-hoc market risk activities reports to management.
  • Support new product approval process through market risk identification, measurement, limits setting and monitoring for breaches.
  • Manage QCP's risk profile and regulatory relationships to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Market risk manager with experience in options and FX/interest rate derivatives.
  • Basic coding skills in Python/R for prototyping risk models.
  • Deep interest in crypto and basic understanding of DeFi sectors.
  • Understanding of crypto derivatives market mechanics.
  • Keen to learn about cryptocurrencies and their idiosyncrasies.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic start-up culture.
