- Operational Leadership: Set clear objectives and performance metrics for the division, ensuring alignment with the company's overall strategy.
- Operations Management: Oversee the division's operations, including exploration, extraction, and processing of copper and gold.
- Process Improvement: Implement best practices and innovative technologies to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
- Financial Management: Ensure the division operates within budget and meets or exceeds production and performance targets.

- Business Continuity: Ensure business continuity and crisis management plans are in place.
- Experience: Proven experience as a CEO or in a senior executive role within the mining industry, with a focus on copper and gold.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of global mining operations, market trends, and regulatory requirements.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated success in strategic planning, financial management, and operational leadership.
