About the Role

Sulzer is a leading engineering company with a proud heritage of innovation. We are seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to join our team as a Logistics and Order Management Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Order Processing and Logistics: Review handover sheets and customer purchase orders to ensure purchases meet requirements, highlighting item details and terms and conditions prior to booking in the SAP system.
  2. Sales Order Management: Book sales orders in SAP and create purchase orders, ensuring export control checks and DoA compliance.
  3. Project Deliverables: Oversee all assigned project deliverables, including hardware, financial, and commercial outputs, dispute management, customer satisfaction, and on-time delivery.
  4. Payment and Reporting: Manage payment follow-ups, overdue checks, and create monthly reports in alignment with finance.
  5. Order Verification: Verify all orders received for commercial and technical correctness.
  6. Order Confirmations: Ensure order confirmations are submitted to customers in accordance with customer PO and selling entity's order confirmation.
  7. Progress Monitoring: Monitor the progress of all live orders and ensure customers are updated accordingly.
  8. Procurement and Logistics: Coordinate between customers and entities to clarify and resolve procurement issues and 'after Sales' complaints.
  9. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of discrepancies and prepare monthly reports.
  10. Shipping and Delivery: Prepare and obtain shipping documents and coordinate delivery procedures/instructions between customers and entities.
  11. Commercial Invoicing: Generate, dispatch, and track commercial invoices, which should be sent to customers by email and courier.
  12. Intercompany Invoicing: Submit required copies of intercompany invoices, commercial invoices, and proof of delivery to the finance department.
  13. Delivery Status Reports: Update orders' latest delivery position to maintain accuracy in monthly sales forecast and expedite as required.
  14. KPI Reporting: Complete necessary information in sales order's business reports for KPI.
  15. Document Management: Organize and file relevant communications and documentations by electronic and hard copy.
  16. Company Initiatives: Participate in and actively support company initiatives and make improvement suggestions where able.
  17. Interdepartmental Support: Assist, when requested, other departments within Sulzer Pumps Middle East.
Requirements
  1. SAP and Sales Force: Proficient in SAP and Sales Force.
  2. Computer Skills: General computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
