Job Overview

About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our Enterprise Architecture & Delivery Team at Asterix Communications. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our data management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and implement data ingestion pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Azure Data Bricks.
  2. Develop solutions using Scala Scripting, Python, Pyspark, and Spark SQL with Data bricks.
  3. Ensure the quality and consistency of data by integrating the End-to-End Data Pipeline.
  4. Work within Agile delivery and DevOps methodologies to deliver proof of concept and production implementation in iterative sprints.
  5. Monitor performance and optimization of data ingestion and reports.
  6. Work with Event based technologies to ingest and process real-time data.
  7. Experience in working with real-time big data processing.
  8. Experience in Working with Data analytics tools like Power BI, Tableau etc.
Requirements

Education: An undergraduate or postgraduate degree in computer science, engineering or a related field or similar knowledge.

Experience: 6+ years of experience in software development and 3+ years of experience in data ingestion / data warehouse development.
