Job Title: Cyber Security Specialist

International Free Zone Authority is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our computer networks.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement security systems to protect against cyber-attacks and maintain a high-security standard.
  • Investigate security breaches and other cybersecurity incidents, documenting the damage and assessing the impact.
  • Collaborate with the IT Security team to perform tests and identify network vulnerabilities.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest IT security trends and news, applying this knowledge to improve our security protocols.
  • Develop and review information security policies and procedures, ensuring they align with industry best practices and relevant standards.
  • Work with the IT team to establish company-wide best practices for IT security, promoting a culture of security awareness.
Requirements:
  • Full English proficiency is required.
  • Proficiency in relevant information technologies and systems.
  • Working knowledge of CRM systems.
  • ITIL V3/V4 certification or equivalent experience in Incident, Request, Problem, and Change management.
  • Knowledge of cloud security and experience in cloud security testing.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer service and telephone etiquette.
  • Ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities.
  • Deep understanding of networking protocols, including IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, and QoS.
Experience:
  • Tertiary education in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Cyber Security, with a proven track record as a Cyber Security Specialist or similar role.
  • CompTIA CySA+ certification is a plus.
  • Experience with IT Ticketing systems and hands-on experience analyzing high volumes of logs, network data, and other attack artifacts.
